Rockstar: That's a Lot of Energy Drink!
Rockstar was one of the first energy drinks you could get in a non 8oz. can and to this day it touts itself as “Double Strength, Double Size”. There are currently six varieties of Rockstar: Original, Juiced Energy, Juiced Energy & Guava, Sugarfree, Zero Carb, and Cola.
Rockstar

This is pretty much a clone of Red Bull, a bit sweeter, but basically the same thing, only bigger.
Rockstar Juiced

70% juice including mango, passion fruit, and orange. It tastes exactly like sulfur. Disgusting.
Rockstar Juiced: Guava

Also 70% juice including guava puree. This is my favorite flavor of Rockstar, I have crazy cravings for it sometimes. It is, however, not for everyone; it packs a mean energy punch and is insanely sweet.
Diet Rockstar

Basically regular Rockstar only with an artificial sweetener rather than sugar. I hate artificial sweeteners so this doesn’t sit well with me.
Rockstar Zero Carb

It’s in a blue can and smells like bubblegum, again, not for me.
Rockstar Cola

Not great. Has the teeth-squeaking characteristic of RC Cola and the flavor of any generic cola you can think of. I’ve never been the biggist fan of colas if there is any alternative caffeine source present.
All in all, no matter which variety suits your fancy, Rockstar makes a decent energy drink, loaded with caffeine, sugar, guarana, milk thistle extract, taurine, and various other heart-stoppers. Additionally, and to their credit, the makers of Rockstar load each can with a full day’s allowance of four different B vitamins and a healthy amount of ginseng and ginko biloba. Rockstar makes those late nights a lot easier.
