C.O. Bigelow Skin Care Products

It’s important to take care of the skin you’re in. There is a wonderful drugstore in
I use C.O. Bigelow Rose Water Skin Tonic as my aftershave. It contains Witch Hazel (4%), Triple Rose Water (12.5%), and Chamomile Extract (5%). It cools the skin as it’s put on and never stings like a normal aftershave. It also doesn’t leave any cloying scent, which I greatly appreciate – scents of aftershave tend to be too heavy and disturb the delicate balance of aromas from deodorant, cologne, and hair product. Supposedly there are all kinds of other benefits to the Tonic, but personally I haven’t noticed any drastic skin changes since implementing it.
As winter continues and the air remains dry I like to use C.O. Bigelow’s Rose Wonder Cold Cream as a face wash. It’s a pretty thick cream to wash your face with and leaves a layer of intense moisturization. Using it just once a week or even once every two weeks keeps my face from getting dry during the cold dark months. I’ve been told that you can apply it lightly before going outside on the really cold and dry days without washing it off, but I have yet to try that. It is mineral-oil-free and fragrance-free. It is also non-comedogneic and non-acnegenic, but I don’t know what those words mean.
New to my repertoire of products is Bigelow Mentha Tingling Foot Cream. During the winter my feet tend to sweat unpleasantly due to the combination of heavy boots and indoor radiant heating. The foot cream contains Peppermint oil (2.25%), which makes the feet feel cool and tingle when it is applied. The cream itself is quite light and very quickly absorbs, which is nice because you don’t feel uncomfortable putting socks on right after application. It keeps your feet dry and fresh for hours, which is important if, like me, you’re stepping on people with them during yoga class.
