Carabao Energy Drink

In the first of what will be many forays into the international world of energy drinks, I present to you Carabao, a scary little glass-bottled libation from Thailand.
I picked this little guy up for less than a dollar at my favorite supermarket in all of Greater Boston: the Super 88 in the South Bay Shopping Center.
After a stint in my freezer back home, I twisted off the top and was immediately greeted with the scent of guarana, a common ingredient in foreign energy drinks as well as domestic. The drink is a syrupy-sweet non-carbonated guarana, taurine, and caffeine energy potion.
Well worth the price of admission, I was feeling the effects of this drink within a half hour and it kept me going for a strong four hours with no heavy crash towards the end. The potent effect plus striking cow skull on the label will definitely have me coming back for more. Thanks Thailand! You guys know how to make a caffeine Connoisseur happy.
