Bedford Farms Ice Cream

Elizabeth and I were going shopping in the
We parked the car and got out to look at the menu of choices. For an autumnal October day, there was a decent line at the window, but it moved quickly and it was soon our turn to order. There were many choices, including the seasonally appropriate pumpkin, but Liz and I went with the old standbys. I had a chocolate shake (I’m pretty sure it was called a frappe) and Liz had a hot fudge sundae, regular size.
Soon our ice cream concoctions were created, and as always, I was surprised at how large they were. My frappe was in a good sized cup, but Liz’s sundae was in a giant cup, and it was full. The description of the sundae claimed that there were two scoops of ice cream in a sundae, but I counted at least 4 scooping actions from the ice cream creator.

Yes, the volume was great, but the quality takes this ice cream to an entirely new plane. My chocolate shake was, bar none, the best I have ever had. Yes, you heard me right. The homemade ice cream was generously portioned and blended to perfection, with a big chocolaty flavor, smooth drinkability, and a cravability that is unmatched. The sundae was also fantastic. The vanilla ice cream was out of this world, as smooth as frozen marshmallow and just as delicious, and the hot fudge on top was generous, sticky, and the perfect balance for the mounds of frozen white.
When we finished, we were stuffed, sticky, and satisfied. Bedford Farms is my pick for the best homemade ice cream in
